ALL SINGLE-GAME SEATS AVAILABLE BEGINNING SATURDAY

The Orlando Sharks, Central Florida’s professional soccer team, today announced that all single-game seats for the team’s inaugural season in the Major Indoor Soccer League (MISL) will be available beginning Saturday, September 29 at 10:00 a.m. ET. The first-ever season of professional indoor soccer in Orlando commences with the Opening Night Gala on Friday, October 26 at 7:35 p.m. at Amway Arena against the New Jersey Ironmen.
 

Individual tickets for the Sharks 15-game home slate can be purchased only at the Amway Arena box office during normal business hours or at any of the five Orlando-area Ticketmaster locations. Fans can also call Ticketmaster at 800-277-1700 or visit www.ticketmaster.com. One of the most affordable sports entertainment attractions in Central Florida, tickets to see all of the fast-paced, high-scoring family fun of the Orlando Sharks start at just $16 for The Cove and Playa Loca sections. Fans can also get in on the initial offering of Sharks season tickets by calling a sales associate in the team front office at 407-403-6300. The Sharks boast a lengthy list of benefits to season ticket holders of every level. Each of the 15 Sharks home games is themed for soccer enthusiast, sports fans and fun seekers of all ages. The Sharks will also feature Christmas and New Year’s Eve parties, Orlando Sharks Idol, a Mardi Gras celebration, and Faith and Family Night with post game concert.

The expansion Orlando Sharks, an operating unit of Orlando-based BVC Sports & Entertainment, are the newest team to join the current Major Indoor Soccer League. The Sharks will compete with the Baltimore Blast, California Cougars, Chicago Storm, Detroit Ignition, La Raza de Monterrey (MX), Milwaukee Wave, New Jersey Ironmen and Philadelphia Kixx in the 2007-08 MISL season. The league is in its 24th consecutive year of operation, starting as the American Indoor Soccer Association in 1984 and then the National Professional Soccer League beginning in 1990 before the MISL name was established in 2001.
