The first Pro Day Open Tryout talent pool was deep enough for a shark to swim in, no pun intended. Players who showed up to Hancock Park in Clermont possessed an exceptionally high skill level, impressing coach Jake Dancy.
"The first group of guys really set the bar high. They proved how competitive this sport is and how much undiscovered talent we have right here in our back yard. I'm very impressed," concluded Dancy following the tryout.
Florida area soccer players have the rest of August and the first week in September to catch Dancy's eye. Playing professional soccer is a dream to many that could come true in the coming weeks.
Sharks hopefuls are encouraged to check the website daily to keep current on scheduling changes.
